Greetings to All:
As the school year winds down and the weather warms up, we will all be more active outdoors. Here is a simple, safe exercise to help improve low back strength and stability.

Manipulative Therapy as good as medication for Low Back Pain
Two groups of patients with low back pain (LBP) were studied: one group was treated with osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) only. The second group was treated with OMT after 3 months of pharmacologic therapy. Both groups showed a significant decrease in back pain. The authors conclude that the similar results between the 2 groups may indicate the lack of need for medication for the treatment of low back pain.

Covid-19 virus alters Human Genes
An explanation for the long term symptoms seen in some Covid-19 patients is emerging. Researchers have found that the virus appears to alter the gene expression in the cells of the lungs as well as the cells that control the body’s inflammatory response.
